It's that time of year again

Once again, I've signed up for NaBloPoMo, which is short for National Blog Posting Month. If I post something every single day for all of November, I'm eligible to win something from a list of fabulous prizes, which includes a scarf, a meal-replacement shake, and a hand-painted gourd.
